San Francisco, CA | Inpatient Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both circulating and scrubbing duties in an inpatient operating room environment
• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout all phases of care
• Float to other facilities within the health system as needed, based on departmental needs and qualifications
• Complete required non-billable compliance modules during pre-start and annually as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient operating room experience
• Demonstrated circulating and scrubbing experience
• Strong orthopedic surgical background required
• BSN required
• Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required
• Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination and booster (proof required at time of submission)
• Must be willing and able to float to other facilities within the health system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
