Clinical Nurse II-FertilityWe are seeking a Clinical Nurse II in our Fertility Center located in Morrisville, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients.Job duties and responsibilities include:Rooming patients, collecting histories, and chartingEnsuring medications are up to date and all information is correct prior to visitProviding care in recovery/procedure area per provider ordersFulfilling EOC requirements daily including safety for staff and patientsMedication and treatment classes for patientsObtaining authorizations and completing FMLA paperwork for patientsCoordinating patient fertility cycles via nurse triage, in-basket communications, and medication refillsActing as clinical liaison between patients, clinical and clerical teamsAdhering to professional standards, policies, procedures, EOC, JCAHO, and infection controlDelegating tasks and supervising activities for other licensed and unlicensed care providersPerforming other related duties incidental to the work described hereinRotating weekend requirement, no more than one weekend per month.Job eligibility requirements include:Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program1-2 years RN experienceIV/Venipuncture Fertility preferredOB/GYN, L&D, Women's Health experience will be prioritized and is strongly preferredBLS requiredDuke is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing employment opportunity without regard to an individual's age, color, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, sex (including pregnancy and pregnancy related conditions), sexual orientation or military status.
