The Assistant Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire front-end of the store. Responsibilities include associate development, customer service, asset protection, store maintenance, payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, monthly operational risk assessment, safety meetings, price changes, coaching, training, developing, evaluating, supervising, and scheduling store associates, and performing all team leader functions to open and close the store when needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience in a supervisory role, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, ability to read, write, and speak English, ability to manage in a professional work environment, ability to exercise sound judgment, ability to preserve confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, knowledge of industry terms and processes, ability to effectively communicate and delegate tasks, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally, see, hear, and speak regularly, and operate a motor vehicle with a valid state issued license.
