Job Summary

As a vital member of the clinical team, you will perform patient care duties within the scope of your certification, assist with treatments and procedures, and facilitate efficient patient flow. You will prepare patients for exams, administer immunizations under provider supervision, and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out provider orders promptly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members to optimize clinic experience.
• Manage exam room supplies, perform daily room checks, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure timely processing of consults and diagnostics.
• Adhere to infection control practices and clinic policies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment
