Leasing Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Leasing Assistant to support a multifamily apartment community in Stockton, CA. This temporary opportunity is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with people, excels at providing outstanding customer service, and is passionate about helping prospective residents find their next home.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community and apartment tours for prospective residents, highlighting amenities and property features.
  
• Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  
• Assist with all aspects of the leasing process, including lead management, application processing, and move-in coordination.
  
• Follow up with prospective residents and support resident retention initiatives.
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
  
• Maintain accurate resident, prospect, and leasing records within property management systems.
  
• Prepare leasing documents and ensure files are complete and compliant.
  
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks.
  
• Support the onsite management team with daily operational needs and special projects as assigned.
  
• Ensure the leasing office remains organized, professional, and welcoming.
  
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing prospect traffic.
  
• Maintain communication with residents, vendors, and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  
• Support community initiatives and resident engagement activities as needed.
  

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.
  
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Previous experience in leasing, property management, customer service, sales, hospitality, or administrative support.
  
• Experience with Entrata or other property management software.
  
• Knowledge of leasing practices and resident relations.
  
• Experience working within a multifamily housing environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
