Licensed Beautician – Independent Contractor (Per Diem)

We are seeking a licensed beautician to provide salon and grooming services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, perfect for someone looking to supplement their income with flexible, meaningful work.

Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, shampoo and sets, trims, and other grooming services

• Ensure all services are performed safely and in accordance with state board regulations

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well‑organized workstation

• Interact courteously and respectfully with residents at all times

Requirements

• Current and valid beautician or cosmetology license

• Minimum 3 years of professional beautician experience

• Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred

• Proof of liability insurance

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule & Pay

• Per diem, flexible scheduling

• Compensation is service‑based and paid directly via 1099
