Seniors Helping Seniors Atlanta Southwest is hiring a part-time Companion Caregiver for an older adult in Peachtree City, Georgia.This is a non-medical companion care position focused on companionship, routine support, safety awareness, and assistance with everyday household activities. This opening does not currently involve hands-on personal care such as bathing, toileting, or transfers.Current ScheduleDay Shifts between 7am & 5pmResponsibilitiesThe Companion Caregiver will:Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement.Participate in appropriate activities, puzzles, walks, and other interests with the client.Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.Prepare simple meals, breakfast items, or snacks.Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment.Provide routine reminders and redirection when needed.Observe and report meaningful changes in the client's condition, behavior, or routine.Document services and care notes according to company procedures.Follow the client's care plan and Seniors Helping Seniors policies.QualificationsApplicants should:Be dependable, punctual, patient, and comfortable working independently in a client's home.Be comfortable supporting an older adult experiencing memory loss or dementia-related changes.Have reliable transportation to and from the client's home in Peachtree City.Be able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and the Seniors Helping Seniors team.Be able to use a smartphone for scheduling, clock-in/clock-out, and care documentation.Successfully complete required employment screening, background requirements, and orientation before assignment.Previous experience supporting older adults is preferred. Experience with dementia or memory support is helpful for this assignment.About the PositionThis is a part-time caregiver position with Seniors Helping Seniors Atlanta Southwest. Caregivers are matched with clients based on the client's needs, caregiver experience, availability, and compatibility.The current opening is specifically for companion care in Peachtree City, GA 30269.
