Job Description This four-week internship provides an opportunity for high school students to gain real-world work experience in NANA's office. Start date: June 16, 2025. Interviews will take place as applications are received. The internship will last 4 weeks and interns must be able to commit to the entire internship. Two High School Interns are to be hired for each village. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Shareholder Relations Coordinator and work on special projects as assigned. Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success may also be assigned. Qualifications Must be a NANA shareholder. Minimum age 14. Must be entering the 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2025 or a 2025 high school graduate to qualify. Must provide a complete application and resume when submitting the application. Must provide one letter of recommendation when submitting the application. Must be able to commit to the entire work assignment. Preferred Qualifications Great interpersonal and communication skills. Good organizational skills. Good administrative skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel). Willingness to learn. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Weather: Indoors – environmentally controlled; most or all work is to be done inside. Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere. Description of environment: Office building with a standard office environment. Physical requirements: Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift. Travel: No travel required. Interpersonal Skills – Focuses on solving conflict, maintains confidentiality, listens without interrupting, keeps emotions under control, remains open to others’ ideas. Oral Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively; listens and seeks clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings. Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; reads and interprets written information. Judgment – Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound judgment; supports and explains reasoning; includes appropriate people in decision‑making; makes timely decisions. Professionalism – Approaches others tactfully; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments.
