Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity in Outpatient Infusion

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with experience in outpatient infusion to support a healthcare facility in Gainesville, GA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmacy services within an outpatient infusion setting, utilizing EPIC as the primary healthcare system. The position is a 6-month contract, requiring candidates to commit for the full duration.

Setting: Outpatient Infusion

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

System: EPIC

Type: 6-Month Contract

Candidate Requirements: Local preferred; travelers may be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sterile compounding and intravenous (IV) admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Oversee medication preparation and dispensing in the infusion clinic
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient-centered pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements related to infusion services
• Utilize EPIC system for accurate and efficient documentation and medication order processing

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Georgia Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, including sterile compounding, infusion, or IV room operations
• Strong knowledge of outpatient infusion pharmacy procedures and standards
• Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health records system
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills
