Delivery Helper

Summary The Home Delivery Driver Helper plays a crucial role in delivering products to designated locations. By adhering to these standards, the Home Delivery Helper can ensure a positive experience for both the customer and the company. Primary Job Functions Responsible for loading products into trucks with the driver and going to customers’ homes on pre‑routed trips. Delivery can range from drop at the doorstep to full set‑up of the product in the home. Following the best practices for safety while loading or unloading a truck. Communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries. Demonstrate the company’s core and growth values in the performance of all job functions. Follow all OSHA and company‑established safety rules and procedures. Secondary Job Functions Maintain reliable attendance. Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education; assist with training other employees and providing backup. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience 6 months to 1 year of delivery experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Work independently as well as in a team environment. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Maintain confidentiality. Working knowledge of continuous improvement. Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints.
