Die Cutter Operator - Relocation Assistance Available Location: Spartanburg, SC Pay: $21.00-$27.00 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history Paid Relocation: Available for qualified candidates Shifts Available: * 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (Monday-Wednesday) * 6:00 pm - 6:00 am (Sunday-Tuesday) * 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (Thursday-Saturday) * 6:00 pm - 6:00 am (Wednesday-Friday) Important: This is an experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operator position. Previous sheetfed die-cutting machine operating experience is required. Using state-of-the-art sheetfed offset, narrow-web flexographic, die-cutting, and folder/gluer equipment, our team delivers exceptional quality in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Position Summary Quad is seeking experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operators to join our Spartanburg manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment to produce high-quality packaging products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the production process. You'll work alongside an experienced team using state-of-the-art equipment to deliver products for nationally recognized brands. Experience operating Bobst 106 die-cutting equipment is highly preferred. Candidates with experience operating other Bobst or sheetfed die-cutting machines are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do * Set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment. * Verify job specifications, dies, paper stock, and production requirements before each run. * Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency. * Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. * Stage completed work according to production instructions. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and PPE requirements. * Cross-train and assist with training other operators as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For * Previous experience operating sheetfed die-cutting equipment is required. * Experience operating Bobst 106 die cutters is highly preferred; candidates with experience on other Bobst or sheetfed die-cutting equipment are encouraged to apply. * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to prioritize quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to accurately read measuring devices and perform basic math calculations. * Experience using hand tools. * Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally. * Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
