This full-time position allows you to work remotely while providing vital mental health services focused on trauma recovery for our diverse patient population. Work Environment\nThis role is primarily remote, providing flexibility and convenience while allowing interaction with our supportive team of mental health professionals. Operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this position may require some deviation in scheduling to accommodate the unique needs of our patients seeking care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' behavioral and emotional needs, taking into account their trauma history. \n
- Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at healing and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies aligned with the latest mental health research. \n
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions employing effective therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment experiences for clients. \n
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related crises, demonstrating a composed and considerate approach in high-stress situations. \n
- Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources to enhance their understanding and encourage effective support systems. \n
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records of patient progress and treatment efficacy. \n
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed practices. \n
The ideal candidate will be working with a varied patient base, primarily consisting of individuals struggling with the lasting impacts of trauma. Our clients range in age and background, and their presentations may include severe PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, and challenges stemming from complex trauma. Providing accessible, compassionate care, you will assist these individuals in navigating their healing experiences and moving towards healthier futures.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona. \n
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience post-licensure is preferred. \n
- A thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and non-judgmental support. \n
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate professional resilience in challenging situations. \n
- Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant software applications. \n
While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with robust training in trauma-focused methodologies and a passion for continuous learning in the mental health field will also be highly regarded. Familiarity with group therapy dynamics and integrated care practices is an asset.
