PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

PAY: $18.00/hour
SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday | Day shift
• Occasional weekends or overtime as needed (based on pharmacy needs)

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations. This role is critical to ensuring medications are prepared, processed, and delivered accurately while maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
• Enter prescription information into pharmacy systems and verify patient data.
• Label, package, and organize medications for patient pickup or delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating medications.
• Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff.
• Process insurance claims and resolve basic billing issues when applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work area.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and pharmacy safety procedures at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
