RBA Builders is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team. We are a full-service General Contractor delivering projects across the commercial, industrial, aerospace, education, entertainment, and medical sectors throughout Southern California. This role is ideal for someone with estimating experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys collaborating on a wide variety of commercial construction projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Review drawings, specifications, and project scopes Coordinate subcontractor bids and pricing Attend job walks and pre‑bid meetings Develop bid packages and value engineering options Support project planning and preconstruction efforts Minimum Qualifications 1–5 years of estimating or construction‑related experience Strong organizational and analytical skills Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel Valid California driver’s license Ability to pass background screening for project badging Physical & Work Environment Requirements Prolonged periods working at a computer and reviewing documents Occasional walking and standing at active construction sites Ability to travel to project locations as needed Ability to safely navigate construction environments while using required PPE Benefits Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Career growth and mentorship opportunities Join a team that values integrity, collaboration, and building careers alongside great projects.
