Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse located in the area is responsible for providing high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. This role involves managing patient assessments, vital signs, and readiness for discharge, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient comfort throughout the recovery process.

Job Details

• Certifications: CA Registered Nurse License REQUIRED; ACLS, BLS, PALS REQUIRED
• Education/Degree Requirements: Valid nursing degree recognized for CA RN licensure
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of PACU or post-anesthesia recovery experience
• Location Requirements: Must hold current CA RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks
• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, beginning on 11/16/2026 and ending on 02/15/2027
• Responsibilities include managing post-operative patient care, utilizing equipment such as End-Tidal CO2 monitors and managing various patient conditions including airway assessments and intravenous access.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with charting system Epic; previous charge experience preferred
• Additional Information: Float to perioperative as needed for staffing, including pre-procedure and phase 2 recovery for moderate sedation in interventional radiology, gastrointestinal, and surgical patients. Admission and discharge of same-day procedures required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload current Nursys verification, applicable certifications, and references within the past year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
