Blaine Lakes Dental is a small, privately owned practice in Blaine, MN seeking a Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team in a full-time or part-time capacity. What We’re Offering 4-Day Work Week: We alternate between having Wednesdays and Fridays off, giving you a balanced schedule that’s perfect for your lifestyle. Consistent Hours: Full time employees will work 30–32 hours per week with no weekend shifts and shortened days on the Fridays that we’re open. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, cleanings, periodontal therapy, and patient education during one-hour appointments that allow for thorough, unhurried treatment. Utilize Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) technology as part of the hygiene protocol, maintaining proficiency with modern dental equipment and techniques (will train you if needed)! Document accurate and detailed patient records including health histories, treatment notes, and periodontal charting using the practice's dental software (Dentrix). Develop individualized oral hygiene instruction and home care recommendations tailored to each patient's needs and health history. Collaborate with the dentist and support staff to coordinate patient care, communicate clinical findings, and contribute to a seamless patient experience from check-in to checkout. Build and maintain long‑term relationships with an established patient base, contributing to the trust and continuity of care the practice is known for. Qualifications Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist license in good standing. Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to identify and communicate periodontal conditions and treatment needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, patient-centered chairside manner. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team environment. Commitment to delivering high‑quality care with attention to detail and genuine investment in patient outcomes. Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix) is preferred, but training is available! New graduates are encouraged to apply!
