Spiritual Companion

Our ambassadors, sometimes called volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are employed at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, and hospice care – just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as community blood drives and fundraising events. Ambassadors and staff work as a team to provide compassionate care and support to our patients and families. Be a spiritual light in a hospice family's life! Pray with a patient and their family and offer support. The majority of our patients are Christian, so our greatest need is Christian volunteers. We also have need for Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, and Native American volunteers. Qualifications Must be faith-minded No experience or education in a religious setting is required Serve at our Hospice House and/or in hospice patient homes (you choose where you want to serve) We also accept couples who would like to volunteer together Become part of our dynamic volunteer team Support those in your local community #J-18808-Ljbffr
