Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant, LTAC, Oakland, California, United States. Start date 08/24/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Guaranteed hours 35 per week with a weekly pay range of $1,616 to $1,709. Shift is 5x8 days (08:00–16:30). Setting: skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust therapeutic activities under the supervising PT, per the plan of care
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training, and functional activities
- Monitor patient progress, document in charts, and communicate findings with the PT and interdisciplinary team
- Assist with equipment setup, transfers, and safety precautions to protect patient well-being
- Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe, clean treatment environment

Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree required)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility and support a 13-week travel assignment
- Availability to work the specified shift pattern (08:00–16:30) and meet guaranteed hours
