Certified Medical Assistant for Tranquil Haven.
About Us:
Tranquil Haven is a pediatric & young adult psychiatry outpatient practice. We have a mission to improve the mental fitness of our clients by cultivating a non-judgmental community where mental wellness is a top priority for every individual’s overall health. We provide high quality psychiatric evaluations, including thorough diagnostic workup to rule out medical causes of psychiatric presentations. We provide several treatment options including medications, behavioral treatment interventions and lifestyle modifications. We utilize the least number of medications necessary to treat presenting symptoms. We collaborate with other providers and clinicians in our community. Our individualized treatment plans provide a holistic view on the patient that targets building resiliency skills and instilling preventative mental health strategies in all our clients. We have a work environment where the dimensions of wellness are at the forefront of our clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tAppointment scheduling for clients
•\tWelcome clients for their in-person appointments.
•\tClient checks in
•\tCreating patient charts and scanning intake documents into the chart.
•\tCollect copayments and electronic payments for appointments
•\tVital signs for Physician visits
•\tAnswer any questions clients and family members have about the practice and care we provide with excellent customer service.
•\tSchedule clients follow up appointments
•\tInsurance verification
Qualifications:
•\tRegistered Medical Assistant by the AMT (American Medical Technologists)
•\tAt least 1 year of medical office experience
•\tHigh school Diploma or GED
•\tComputer & electronic health record experience

Why job us: we are a company that has wellness at the heart of everything we do. We work 4.5 days per week. Have 12 paid holidays. We provide mental health care to our clients and promote wellness, and work life balance in our staff as well. Working hours: 8am 5pm Monday- Thursday. 8 am - noon on Friday.
