Description

Sales associates are the primary customer-facing personnel who provide fast, efficient, and professional service while accurately managing transactions. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while accurately managing transactions such as wires, check cashing, loans, money orders, bill payments, and top-ups, lottery tickets and online sales. The Sales Associate is responsible for handling and balancing cash drawers, maintaining confidentiality of customer information, and ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, this position identifies cross-selling opportunities, provides prompt and professional assistance with customer inquiries, and proactively enhances the company's acceptance and branding in the market by applying best practices and consistent service excellence.

Work demands

• The environment in this position may vary based on the location of the store. It is expected that the noise level in commercial locations is at a moderate level.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Processing

• Wires, cash checks, loans, and sell various company products like money orders, bill payments, lottery tickets and online sales, top-ups and reloads.

Customer Service

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate for their needs.

Cash Management

• Each shift associate must count and balance cash drawers, verify balance with the system, and handle cash responsibly to prevent errors and maintain accuracy. Process deposits from and to the bank. Handling of cash received and delivering by agents.

Cross-Selling

• Identify and recommend additional company products and services that meet customer needs, cross-selling focused on meeting goals. Use available company materials (flyers or prizes) to promote and offer the company's products.

Compliance & Security

• Comply with company, state and federal policies and regulations, maintain client confidentiality and identify and report any inappropriate or suspicious activity.

Record Keeping

• Keep track of all shift transactions and other relevant information using the company's systems or procedures.

Marketing & Promotion

• Support company marketing initiatives when required, such as distributing flyers, sharing promotional materials with customers, or assisting with in-store and out-of-store campaigns, always ensuring professionalism and alignment with company branding.

Other Tasks

• Other tasks of a similar nature, scope, or level of responsibility as assigned by Management (e.g., assisting with in-store and out-of-store promotions, supporting marketing initiatives, or helping with operational improvements).

Physical Demands

Este puesto se centra en ofrecer una atencin al cliente excepcional y en procesar correctamente operaciones tales como transferencias, cambio de cheques, prstamos, giros postales, pago de facturas, recargas, venta de boletos de lotera y ventas en lnea. El asociado de ventas es responsable de manejar y cuadrar las cajas registradoras, mantener la confidencialidad de la informacin de los clientes y garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de la empresa, as como de las leyes estatales y federales. Asimismo, identifica oportunidades de venta cruzada, ofrece asistencia rpida y profesional ante las consultas de los clientes y promueve de manera proactiva la aceptacin y el posicionamiento de la marca en el mercado.

Requisitos:

• Diploma de escuela secundaria (High School) o GED.
• Debe hablar espaol con fluidez y tener al menos un nivel bsico de comunicacin en ingls.
• Habilidad para utilizar el teclado (letras y nmeros) y el ratn de la computadora.
• Atencin al detalle, especialmente al leer, escribir y contar nmeros y dinero.

Exigencias del trabajo

• Entorno de oficina. rea de ventas abierta o mdulo de atencin al cliente en un supermercado. El entorno de este puesto puede variar segn la ubicacin de la tienda. Se espera un nivel de ruido moderado propio de los locales comerciales.
