This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated school psychologist to serve a large middle school and a mid-size elementary school in Washoe County, NV. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators, offering your expertise to foster student well-being and success. Full-time hours (35–37.5 hours per week) ensure you can be deeply involved in both campuses, providing guidance across a broad age range.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Nevada School Psychologist license required
• Strong background supporting children in both elementary and middle school settings
• Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and write detailed reports
• Familiarity with IEP processes and the ability to participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret test results
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to develop and implement effective interventions
• Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Contribute to the development and review of IEPs and 504 plans
• Support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality guidelines
