Job Summary
The Healthcare Provider specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Somerset, KY, is responsible for providing comprehensive recovery care to patients across all ages following surgical procedures. This position involves managing ventilator patients, administering medications, and monitoring patient stability to ensure safe and effective recovery.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; Education Requirements: RN; Experience: 2+ years, with ability to recover and hold ventilator patients; Location: Somerset, KY; Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Responsibilities include providing care to diverse patient populations, managing ventilators, arterial lines, Foley catheters, chest tubes, pediatric patients (1:1), and assisting with procedural blocks.
• Additional Information: Focus on ventilator care, glucose monitoring, bladder scanning, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and Wound Vacs. Candidate must be adaptable to ICU level patient care and handle multiple service lines including urology, general surgery, robotics, neuro, vascular, ENT, podiatry, GYN, orthopedics, bariatrics, and endoscopy.
