Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Syracuse, NY Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Must work one weekend every other month Start Date: 3/30 or 4/6

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with both outpatient and acute care experience to join our team. This is a full-time, immediate-start opportunity, with weekend inpatient coverage on a rotating basis.

Pay Package:

• 13 Weeks - 40 hours (5x8)
• Non-taxable pay (weekly): $1246
• Taxable pay (weekly): $1960
• Gross total pay (weekly): $3206

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• NYS Licensure
• Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP or equivalent)
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Responsibilities:

• Administer evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs
• Schedule and provide evaluations and treatment sessions based on patient needs
• Educate patients, families, and staff regarding speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Participate in program development for the speech therapy discipline and departmental initiatives
• Prepare reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies
• Participate in community programs
