Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/21/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2212.96 \n \n Opportunity: \n RN - Med/Surg \n Job Details: \n • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles \n • Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans \n • Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV methods \n • Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with established policy \n • Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs \n • Record patients' medical information and vital signs accurately and in a timely manner \n • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays \n • Initiate corrective action when patients display adverse symptomatology \n • Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients including pre- and post-surgery patients \n • Initiate and implement patient education plans as prescribed by physician \n • Teach patients and family members how to manage their illness or injury \n • Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs \n • Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment \n • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol \n • Participate in discharge planning \n • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be through the American Heart Association) \n • Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license required \n Facility: \n This facility is a community hospital offering a range of medical and surgical services to its patient population.
