This position will require a mix of field and office work.Position Summary:This position serves as the primary Transmission representative for retail customer projects and service requests, leading the evaluation, development, and implementation of technical solutions from initial assessment through project completion. The successful candidate will partner with Customers and cross functional stakeholders across Transmission, Distribution, Power Contracts, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Construction, Power Quality, Metering, and Leadership to evaluate service needs, develop customer-focused solutions, and successfully deliver transmission projects.This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including technical scope development, engineering coordination, budgeting, scheduling, construction support, and stakeholder communications. The position requires strong leadership, project management, and customer relationship skills to successfully balance customer expectations with Alabama Power Company and Southern Company business objectives.The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for customers connected to Alabama Power Company’s transmission system while coordinating efforts across multiple organizations to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. This role provides broad exposure to transmission planning, engineering, operations, construction, and customer service functions, and offers the opportunity to lead strategic customer initiatives that support Alabama Power Company’s and Southern Company’s long-term growth objectives.Travel: Up to 25% travel should be expected within the Alabama Power Company footprint. Frequency will be dictated by the specific project(s) supported.Relocation: No relocation Job Experience and Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred.
