Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a telemetry unit and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

The position requires working night shifts, comprising three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting telemetry readings as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• MUST possess a valid Registered Nurse license from Ohio or a compact state.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Contract Information

This is a 13- to 18-week contract opportunity, with flexibility in scheduling and possible extensions based on performance and staffing needs.
