The Gough Whitlam and Malcolm Fraser Visiting Professor of Australian Studies The Committee on Australian Studies at Harvard University seeks to appoint a distinguished scholar to the Gough Whitlam and Malcolm Fraser Visiting Professor of Australian Studies for the 2028-2029 academic year. Position Overview Incumbents of the Chair will ordinarily hold the title of Gough Whitlam and Malcolm Fraser Visiting Professor of Australian Studies, are expected to teach two courses, and to reside at Harvard for the full academic year. Basic Qualifications Doctorate or terminal degree is required. Additional Qualifications Candidates must exhibit intellectual leadership and impact in a field of study and teaching relevant to Australian Studies.
