Production Operator

Description Production line operation – 100% of the time. Pulls work orders at the beginning of the shift and throughout the shift as needed, verifies work order labels and data to ensure accuracy before starting production. Pulls case of appropriate loose bottles, pours into machine; pulls case of appropriate loose lids, pours into machine. Pulls case of appropriate product, pours into machine, inspects product lab code, label, fill level, and cross-threads. Runs production equipment at standard rates set by company, performs torque test using meter on random sampling of completed bottles hourly and records results. Packages filled bottles into trays, prints and labels boxes and cases. Stops machine at the end of run, cleans and maintains primary production machine and work area. Performs basic troubleshooting on machine, resolving basic problems, escalates machine problems to Maintenance Team or Lead as required. Job Details The duties described above are not inclusive. Additional duties may be permanently assigned or required from time to time due to the need to respond to customer needs and remain competitive in the marketplace. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Basic computer usage including mouse. Ability to read and understand work instructions and maintenance manuals. Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction. Ability to visually inspect required coding, product labeling, and finished goods to identify defects and match products with the appropriate packaging. Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking for extended periods on a concrete floor; occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds. Requires 95% of time standing and using hands to pull and fill boxes. Must be available for overtime work as needed; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position pays $16.45 per hour with the ability to earn up to $100.00 more per month in KPI. #J-18808-Ljbffr
