Physician - Anesthesiologist
Barton Associates
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a 28-day assignment in New York. The schedule will involve Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with weekday call from 3 PM to 7 AM and weekend call from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM. This role encompasses inpatient cases, obstetrics, epidurals, general anesthesia, and surgical scheduling, potentially including CRNA supervision, within a rural, critical access setting.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide inpatient anesthesia services
- Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases, including epidurals
- Administer general anesthesia
- Schedule surgeries effectively
- Supervise CRNAs as needed
- Work comfortably within a rural, critical access environment
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Epic
- Setting: Inpatient, rural, critical access
- Call Schedule: Weekday call from 3 PM to 7 AM; weekend call from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
- Staffing Mix: May involve CRNA supervision
