Job Summary:
The registered nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Billings, Montana, provides critical patient care in a high-acuity environment. The role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing patient conditions, and implementing care plans. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an ASN; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit or service; additional certifications as appropriate for the unit or service
• Additional Information: Performs health assessments, health teaching, health counseling, and therapy and treatment planning. Responsible for patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, and resource utilization. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and to be placed on-call during a scheduled shift.
