About the Position
Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: COTA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: COTA Certifications: BLS, FCC Must-Have: Rapid Response Crisis Description: Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for skilled nursing facility. Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and goals. Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities. Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Holiday coverage required.
