Custodial Work Supervisor - Norristown State Hospital (2nd Shift)

The role includes supervising staff, organizing daily tasks, and ensuring proper cleaning practices. As a Custodial Work Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Staff Leadership: Supervise custodial workers as they clean offices, treatment areas, and other facility spaces Safety Practices: Guide staff in following safety procedures while working near clients, visitors, and coworkers Daily Operations: Direct cleaning tasks, waste collection, snow removal, and vector control activities Equipment Training: Teach staff the correct use of cleaning tools, chemicals, and disinfectants Record Keeping: Maintain reports, supply requests, and documentation for custodial operations Process Support: Assist management with improving procedures and evaluating sanitation standards Interested in learning more? Work hours are 2nd Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch. Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs. Overtime as needed. Free parking. QUALIFICATIONS

One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration). Two years of experience performing custodial work.
