Post Operative Care Unit (PACU) Summary

Phase I PACU on 1st floor

Variety of Post-Op patients (Ortho & neuro surgery, OB/GYN, Plastics, Gender Affirmation, Robotics, everything except open heart and transplant cases)

Excellent teamwork and fun environment

Lower turnover

Part of our state-of-the-art surgical pavilion, which opened in 8/2020

Lower call frequency

Ability to be cross-trained to PreOp

Available Roles

Unit based PRN

Requirements

4 shifts in 6 weeks, two weekend or nights shifts in 6 weeks, 1 holiday or hard-to-fill shift annually

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.

1 year of RN experience required. For the full-time role, 2+ years of PACU RN experience strongly preferred. Experience with vents a plus.

Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS, PALS preferred or PALS within 6 months after hire.

This position has a hiring range of: USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
