Role Dental Specialist responsible for providing oral hygiene treatments, patient care, and assisting in dental procedures within a military setting. Key Duties Prepare dental operatory, instruments, and materials Record patient vitals and assist during exams Help with sutures, restorative, and impression procedures Assist dentists and operate dental equipment Training & Skills Develops expertise in preventive dentistry, radiology, dental hygiene, and emergency procedures like CPR. Gains civilian certification eligibility as a dental assistant with additional study. Qualifications & Skills Interest in biology/chemistry, good hand-eye coordination, ability to follow instructions, and helping others.
