IT GeneralistPosition SummaryThe IT Generalist provides day-to-day technical support and helps maintain the organization's technology environment. This role assists with user support, system maintenance, troubleshooting, cloud services, and general IT operations. The IT Generalist works closely with other IT team members to ensure systems remain reliable, secure, and available for business users.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for hardware, software, and user issuesMonitor systems and assist with maintaining technology platformsPerform routine updates, patching, and maintenance activitiesSupport Microsoft environments including Active Directory and IntuneAssist with cloud-based technologies, including AWSTroubleshoot basic network, system, and connectivity issuesHelp maintain documentation, inventory records, and proceduresSupport backups, recovery activities, and technology upgradesEscalate complex issues to other IT staff as neededFollow IT security standards and best practicesDeliver excellent customer service to end usersRequired SkillsCustomer service and end-user supportActive DirectoryMicrosoft IntuneAWS or cloud platform experienceHelp Desk or Desktop Support experienceWindows operating systemsBasic networking knowledgeTroubleshooting and problem-solvingStrong communication skillsQualificationsAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT operationsExperience with Windows environments, cloud services, or network support preferredExperience with system updates, patching, and backup processes is a plusJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
