Title: DH- Senior Quality Engineer (Aerospace) Location: Carson City, NV 89706 United States Duration: Full time direct hire Shift: 8:00 AM TO 5PM Salary Range: $70k - $92K Annually Qualifications EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are: Minimum of 5-8 (current) years’ work in similar industry Bachelor’s degree (Related education and/or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted) Able to read/write/speak/understand English Prior supervisory experience required Prior experience with part 145/21 certification inspection preferred The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are: Must pass applicable vision test if required Certify to Level I/II every three years in at least one NDT discipline The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are: Knowledge of all processes used in turbine engine repair Quality oriented Must be able to read and write in English Read, write and understand specs, manuals, procedures Must be familiar with all aspects of the production procedures in relation to assigned processes Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Ability to use analytical problem-solving techniques Detailed knowledge of inspection processes High degree of professionalism with a focus on customer care Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Quality Control is responsible for the supervision of all inspection and non-destructive testing operations as well as interacting with production teams to provide appropriate resource coverage for all inspection operations. This position is also open to current employees who meet the requirements and are in good standing.
