Pre-Construction Manager & Senior Estimator – $85,000 - $105,000 depending on experience – Cleveland, OH

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction & Estimation

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to define scope and prepare cost estimates.
• Develop conceptual estimates and schedules based on preliminary designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess access, utilities, and site conditions.
• Produce Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimates, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Project Management & Leadership

• Lead pre-construction activities across multiple projects.
• Mentor junior estimators and interns.
• Assist with project management tasks when required.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Present and reconcile estimates with clients and design teams.
• Provide input on design improvements and estimation procedures.

Analysis & Quality Control

• Track costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of scopes and estimates.

The Person

We’re looking for someone with:

• A degree in a related field or equivalent experience (minimum of 5 years).
• Proven expertise in pre-construction and cost estimation for projects ranging from $250K to $15M.
• Proficiency in construction-specific tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Pro-Est.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• A detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
