Respiratory Equipment Technician - Per Diem

The Respiratory Equipment Technician maintains, cleans and assembles equipment at their assigned Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) hospital. Orders supplies, manages the cylinder inventory and services the central gas system. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: One year experience as a Respiratory Therapy Equipment Technician. Experience with high pressure oxygen cylinders and electrical devices. Licenses and Certifications Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification. Working Conditions: Lifts a minimum of 10 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 5 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hour a day. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hackensack Meridian Health Inc.
