Infrastructure Automation Engineer - Linux

Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides expertise and ownership for IaC efforts, building on Site Reliability Engineering.Engineering and Automation to return value to the company through fast and consistent delivery, engineering self-service offerings, and automating problem recovery actions.Creates and improves automation tools and procedures for level 2 teams.Creates and maintains end-to-end automation for provisioning ephemeral systems to support Agile application development of custom built Business Applications.Grows and maintains Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation, using git based source control.Assists with project work supporting corporate IT initiatives leveraging technologies such as on-premises server and storage hardware, Cloud IaaS, Cloud PaaS, virtualization, and containers.Ongoing engineering and support of Disaster Recovery plan.Leverages and builds skills in Python, Perl, SQL, and Powershell for scripting with Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.
