Schedule/Shift

Night shifts are available with variable start times at either 1500 or 1900, working 12-hour shifts. Weekend requirements include every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The nurse will utilize the Epic charting system and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support services, including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with prior charge experience preferred. Previous travel experience is also preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• PALS
• TNCC
• Valid RN License (Compact license accepted)
