Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: BROADWAY, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications- Strong experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core .
- Strong .NET code development experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL .
- Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL .
- Strong experience with Microsoft IIS and web application deployment.
- Strong experience with JavaScript , including advanced JavaScript development.
- Experience with web development and web application design.
- Experience designing and developing GUIs within a .NET framework.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting applications across development, QA, and production environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle ( SDLC ) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with IIS 5.0 .
- Experience with SQL*Plus .
- Experience supporting enterprise applications across multiple environments.
- Experience with automated deployment and release management processes.
- Familiarity with Jira-based Agile development workflows.
Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and Windows desktop applications.
- Configure and manage Microsoft IIS , including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificate installation and renewal.
- Use Git Bash for repository cloning, branch management, pulling updates, and other version control activities.
- Build, troubleshoot, debug, and support applications across development, QA, and production environments.
- Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application functionality, stability, and quality.
- Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and deployment-related configurations.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server .
- Perform basic SQL Server database maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Work with Oracle databases and SQL/PLSQL development.
- Utilize front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support web application interfaces.
- Participate in Agile development activities and use Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and workflow management.
- Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow proper version control practices, branching strategies, and deployment procedures across multiple environments.
- Support CI/CD processes and automated application deployments.
- Collaborate with developers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions.
