Regional Claims Manager, EPL Financial Lines

Location New York (on-site). Essential Job Functions The Regional Claims Manager will manage a team of EPL claims managers and handle EPL, fiduciary, and other Financial Lines claims within the Financial and Professional Lines Claims Group. The role includes evaluating coverage, drafting coverage correspondence, conducting claims investigations, managing defense counsel and legal spend, assessing liability and financial exposure, and negotiating cost‑effective, good faith claims resolutions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree; Juris Doctor preferred. 10+ years of experience in the insurance/legal profession dealing specifically with FLPL claims. Prior management experience preferred. Experience handling primary public, private and non‑profit EPL, fiduciary liability (ERISA), and private D&O claims involving employment‑related facts is preferred. Carrier experience a plus. In‑depth understanding of policy language/coverage. Experience managing, evaluating, mediating and negotiating FLPL claims. In‑depth knowledge of the U.S. legal system, civil litigation, and ADR proceedings. Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to various claims presented under FLPL policies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current range is $165,000 - $180,000.
