Collaborates with medical practitioners to incorporate nursing processes into the plan of care for specialized groups of patients. Performs direct specialty nursing services to patients as required, ensuring adherence to all applicable standards and related TK Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.RN (Registered Nurse)Full TimeMonday – Friday40 hour weeksProvides educational leadership to patients and care providers to enhance specialized patient care within established clinical protocolsAssists patients and caregivers with educational needs, problem resolution, and health management across the continuum of careCollaborates with medical providers, patient care staff, and unit management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curriculaInitiates clinical skills development programs within the parameters of established clinical and orientation models; monitors trends and implements educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards and parametersProvides direct specialized nursing services to an assigned group of patients, providing specialized patient care within nursing protocols and assisting in the performance of all related nursing dutiesDevelops patient care plans, incorporating evidenced-based research and national standards; consults with and serves as a clinical resource for unit management to ensure quality patient careEducates technical and patient care staff in the use of new equipment, supplies, and instruments; coordinates in service training and workshops for appropriate staffEnsures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesPrepares and submits statistical data, monthly activity and annual reports to the Director of NursingPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Valid, unrestricted RN license with BSNCQI and Education experience or a high level of knowledge is necessary.Current CPRAbility to pass a background checkJob Type: Full-time
