Controller

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity‑backed organization to hire a Controller for one of its South Florida operating companies. This opportunity is designed for an accounting leader who is still on the upward trajectory of their career . The ideal candidate will have a track record of taking on increasing responsibility, earning internal promotions , and growing from a strong hands‑on accounting foundation into leadership. The Controller will own the accounting function for a ~$35M+ operating company, lead a small team, and partner closely with both local and corporate leadership. This is a highly visible opportunity within a growing national platform with continued advancement potential. What we're looking for: 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience Demonstrated internal career progression and promotions Strong hands‑on accounting foundation with ownership of month‑end close and financial reporting Experience leading and developing accounting teams Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong business acumen and ability to partner with operational leaders Polished, confident communicator who can challenge, influence, and build relationships Inventory accounting experience is helpful but not required Open industry background; candidates from larger organizations are welcome if they are comfortable remaining hands‑on Ability to work onsite in Deerfield Beach five days per week #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
