Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients. \n
- Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences, incorporating best practices in therapeutic techniques. \n
- Implement evidence-based interventions, specifically utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting approaches as required. \n
- Provide education and support for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies. \n
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring alignment with evolving client needs and therapeutic goals. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals for an integrated approach to patient care. \n
- Remain current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic practices. \n
- Maintain detailed, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to preserve client privacy. \n
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of learning and sharing. \n
- Advocate for clients' rights and mental health needs, addressing the challenges faced by marginalized populations such as homeless individuals and survivors of domestic abuse. \n
You will primarily work with individuals dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This role frequently involves providing care to vulnerable populations, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your expertise will not only help in managing symptoms but also in promoting recovery pathways and emotional resilience.

- Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. \n

- Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients and their experiences. \n

- Annual salary range of USD $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. \n
