NURSE PRACTITIONER (Endocrinology/Diabetes) - Annapolis, MD

Luminis Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Endocrinology/Diabetes practice. This position involves managing complex endocrine patients, with the ability to perform Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA) considered a plus. The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with a contracted physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, in compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage and treat patients with complex endocrine conditions. Provide education and counseling tailored to each patient's medical needs. Conduct same-day and acute care visits as required. Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and care teams. Refer patients to appropriate specialists or healthcare providers when necessary. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies and regulations. Perform duties in compliance with the State of Maryland BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAHS policies. Stay current with licensure, certifications, and continuing medical education requirements. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of two (2) years of related clinical nursing experience. Experience in Endocrinology preferred; FNA skills a plus. Licenses & Certifications Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
