About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse who acts as a clinical leader in the daily functioning of the unit and oversees quality patient care delivery, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Highlights Pay: $95,450 - $143,175 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Department/Unit: Thyroid Institute - USD Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Lead nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care. Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR). Ensure integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care. Validate staff members round hourly on all patients by direct observation and patient feedback. Assess staff competency in PHR and provide consistent meaningful feedback. Conduct rounding of all patients on a daily basis (Monday-Friday). Communicate quantitative and qualitative information regarding the patient experience. Collaborate with the physician dyad and elevate concerns as appropriate. Follow up on all patient concerns in a timely manner and provide service recovery as needed. Design, support, and lead a safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient-centered care environment. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master's in nursing or health-related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience, Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred. Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Cath Lab experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York.
