Corporate Staff Accountant

This is a strong next step for someone a year or so out of school who wants real reps in corporate accounting - not just data entry. The finance team here is actively being built up and formalized, so there's genuine room to grow into more as the function matures. The role, broadly: You’ll be in the weeds of the monthly close - journal entries, account reconciliations, recording daily cash activity, and keeping the general ledger clean and accurate. There's meaningful AP/AR exposure too (invoice processing, payment runs, aging reviews), plus some fixed asset tracking and support for internal and external audit requests. As you get comfortable, expect to pick up more on reporting and variance analysis, and to work across teams like FP&A and operations. A good fit looks like: Someone roughly a year or two into their accounting career, from either a corporate or public accounting background - both are welcome here. You should have a solid handle on GAAP fundamentals, be comfortable in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs are a plus), and have the kind of organizational instincts that keep deadlines from slipping. Exposure to ERP systems or multi-entity/intercompany accounting is a nice-to-have, not a must. What really matters is drive - this isn't a role for someone looking to coast.
