ISC Manufacturing designs and fabricates complex components for Agriculture, Mining, Aggregates, Construction, Waste Processing, and Conveying. We’re adding an experienced fabricator-welder who thrives on precision, safety, and teamwork.

Your Impact (Core Responsibilities)

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up accurate weldments.
• Prep parts with angle grinders, drill presses, a handheld plasma, oxy-fuel torch, and an ironworker.
• Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions using GMAW and FCAW.
• Assemble with wrenches and basic hand tools to confirm quality fit-ups before/after welding.
• Rig and move odd-shaped, heavy parts with forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Work at heights (12’+) using ladders/boom lifts and follow all safety protocols.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools; communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates to meet deadlines and budgets.

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Process proficiency: GMAW (.035 and .045), FCAW (.045 and 1/16”), 316LSI stainless (.035 and .045).
• Accurate tape-measure use and strong blueprint/technical document reading.
• Layout and fitting experience for CNC-cut and manually formed parts.
• Comfort with electrical/manual tools (saws, squares, grinders, etc.).
• Detail orientation, quality mindset, integrity, and a team-first approach.
• Commitment to safety standards and PPE (face shield, gloves, etc.).

Nice-to-Haves

• Background with screw conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, and heavy equipment fabrication.
• Hydraulic shear, press brake, and part assembly skills.
• TIG welding ability.
• Current certifications (not required).

Physical Demands & Schedule

• Frequent squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, push, reach overhead/outward.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk up to 10 hours/day.
• Work Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00–5:30; sometimes Fridays and weekends as needed.

Milestones

• Pre-hire weld test — must pass.
• AWS D1.1 certification test after hire.
• 30–90 day probationary period.
