Job Title: Facilities Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to assist with custodial duties and support the facilities team in maintaining building facilities. This role involves performing cleaning functions such as emptying trash, sweeping, and polishing floors, as well as removing dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines. The technician will also monitor and empty machine chip bins, and conduct daily safety checklists on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in custodial duties and support the facilities team with maintenance tasks.

• Perform custodial duties including emptying trash, sweeping, and polishing floors.

• Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in janitorial and general facility maintenance.

• Proficiency in custodial tasks and sweeping.

• Previous cleaning or custodial experience in an industrial environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing plant.

• Ability to care for facilities and maintain cleanliness.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
